Vacancy: Content Manager – Marketing Department

Key responsibilites:

  • Produce regular thought leadership articles for use within campaign and PR activity
  • Bring together creative thinking and understanding of the marketing plan to produce and implement a multi-channel content plan.  Applicable to both SolutionsPT and partner brands  (e.g. Wonderware and Citect)
  • We are implementing Hubspot. It is the responsibility of the content manager to take campaign objectives and produce content which will enhance engagement with defined target audience segments
  • Develop relevant industry, supplier, product, competitor and trend knowledge to contribute to the strategic planning process
  • Conduct market research relevant to each content plan. Our messaging needs to cut through in a market currently flooded with IIoT, Industry4.0 and Cyber Security noise.  We need to be aware of the stories our competitors are telling and what channels they using to tell them
  • Champion fresh shareable content and formats (e.g. video, infographics) and have the know-how to drive and execute them
  • Conduct research ahead of each monthly webinar and feed learnings into content creation, working alongside marketing, product management and systems architect teams
  • Produce engaging and relevant daily content for website news and blog pages, and social media channels
  • Case study development. Champion the production of success stories spanning our portfolio of solutions. Liaise with sales team and PR agency to uncover opportunities for case study development. Support content creation
  • Produce regular engagement and post-campaign reports
  • Undertake other marketing projects and activities as required

Skills, qualifications and competence level

  • Three to five years’ experience in an editorial, content, marketing, PR or communications role.
  • Marketing/business/creative writing/journalism degree educated
  • Strong copywriting and content creation skills
  • A history of building relationships with both internal and external project stakeholders
  • Creative flair!
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with Marketing Automation System to push out content and measure engagement e.g. Hubspot
  • Strong Market Research skills
  • Attention to detail. Commitment to the highest standards

Experience of the following desirable:

  • Experience working with website content management systems
  • Exposure to and interest in industrial/manufacturing environments and new technologies
  • Photoshop/Adobe Acrobat/ Illustrator experience
