Vacancy: Product Manager – Industrial Networks & Cyber Security
We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager to champion the product portfolio within SolutionsPT to End Users, System Integrators and to ensure that SolutionsPT meets its product sales targets.
The successful candidate be an enthusiastic evangelist when presenting at events and during webinars, promoting the overall SolutionsPT product portfolio internally and externally. They will specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.
Understanding and demonstrating key product features and displaying technical competence with the product will be key elements of the role. They will formalise, test and continually develop value propositions.
Training the sales and marketing teams so that they are competent with the full product set and can speak confidently about the key products and the basic technology, ensuring they have the skills, processes and materials required to convert opportunities.
The successful candidate will define product strategy and road maps, for example lifecycle, version management and pricing, whilst developing and maintaining sales collateral.
Working alongside Marketing, providing them with the commercial plan, target audience, revenue targets, market overview, value proposition and supplier marketing contacts.
An understanding of the competitive position in the market and ensuring sales and marketing can confidently communicate competitive advantages. Then highlight gaps and ways in which we can compete.
They will be experienced in launching new products and working to the New Product Introduction process in a timely fashion.
As well as working closely with sales and marketing, the successful candidate will work with technical team to devise support services, consultancy and training packages that will create sticky solutions.
Technical presales support for pre New Product Introduction released products.
Working with internal stakeholders, develop and maintain generic SLA documentation with our customers, and SLAs between suppliers and SolutionsPT.
They will provide a monthly management report in a format that facilitates market and customer feedback to be shared throughout the company.

- Strong communication skills with customers and suppliers
- Awareness of Sales and Product Management processes
- Customer facing experience
- Good presentation skills
- In depth understanding of Industrial Networks
- Industry experience
- Ability to interact effectively with customers on a technical and commercial level
- Ability to create event/marketing content based Industrial Network and Cyber Security Products
- Awareness of CCS Sales process
- Cyber Security Consultancy experience
- Previous experience with Industrial Network Monitoring and Cyber Security Products
- Product Management Experience
- Understanding of ISA95
- Understanding of IEC 62443
- Understanding of Cyber Security Standards and Regulations (e.g. NIS Directive)
Hours of work: Full Time 37.5 Hours Per Week
Location: Office based (Cheadle), with occasional working from home possible
